Alexandra Burke and Nick Ede came together once more for the annual Spring Ball raising funds and awareness for brain injury and stroke. 

The month of May is officially Stroke Awareness Month and pop star and actress, Alexandra Burke and TV presenter and Brand Expert, Nick Ede once again came together to host a star-studded gala evening called The Spring Ball at Lio London.

Singing Superstar, TV and radio host, Ronan Keating joined Alexandra and Nick on the night with other surprise stars lending their voices to perform with the Patrick Allen Band.  Ronan sang ‘ When you say nothing at all’ and ‘ Rollercoaster’, while Alexandra performer her mega hit debut single ‘Halleluiah’.

Hosted by TV presenter Jean Johansson there were exclusive DJ sets from Denise Van Outen and Laura Pradelska. Guests included Sarah Jane Crawford, Charlene White, Darren Randolph, Sinitta,  Michelle Gayle, Craig Revel Horwood, Dame Arlene Phillips, Brenda Edwards, Nadiya Bychkova, Andrea Mclean, Dionne Bromfield, Bradley Riches, Colin Grafton and Scott Harrison.

The Spring Ball was created by Alexandra Burke and Nick Ede to raise awareness for their foundations Style For Stroke and the Melissa Bell Foundation which in turn support the vital work of the Stroke Association, Same You, Interact Stroke and The Sylvia Young Theatre School, assisting underprivileged children to be granted performance scholarships.

Alexandra wore a custom couture design from British designer Josh Birch Jones who also dressed DJ Laura Pradelska and host for the evening Jean Johansson. 

Guests drank wine from Accolade wines and ate a delicious three course meal of Beetroot and Goat Cheese Brulée with Aged Balsamic, Pistachio, Micro Cress Salad , Roast Chicken Supreme with Creamy Basil Mash, Garden greens, Tarragon Jus  and a Lemon & Strawberry Tart 

Guests all received fabulous gift bags full of goodies including Elemis, Ciate, Lipcote, Six Pack Revolution, Love Cocoa, Fake Bake, Fhurst and many more.
